Watershed Defense Fund
In protecting our rivers, we often have a need for attorney's, engineers, consultants and experts who understand the complex issues we face. This fund will be used exclusively for such purposes. Friends is "seeding" the fund with $1000 from our general funds. We have designated the Mill and Piney Creek watershed as our first project where these funds will be used, subject to the approval of the Board.
We always want to make an effort to "work things out" but "Friends don't let friends pollute our rivers, wells and water."
